Initial Basecamp Exploration
Taking a look at the product dev board
Idea: Probably need a basecamp mcp for claude if not already.
Found a document named "Data is our moat" written by Mark (I think?) going to be a key document in my research finding the most valuable feature to implement.
Zooming out a bit.
Dev board is useless and possibly dead
https://app.basecamp.com/5839259/buckets/44489064/uploads/9206773747 shows how I could potentially introduce a feature
Definitely should be contributing for the ripping the bandaid off messages.

Took a look at all boards, zooming into the product dev boards. Going to go through each kanban.
Web dev board: - Much of the triage tasks seem here seem to be maintained by christine, she seems more active on basecamp in general.
Native App Board - Seems to have much more understandable triage tasks. - Still think I should stick to rails. Flutter brings up bad memories and I have more widley applicable knowledge in the web dev world.
Customer Feedback Board - Dead
Internal Feedback Board - Useful internal feature requests. Doesn't seem maintained.
Feature Request - Same comments as IFB.
Metrics Library - Not directly relevant to me, but I found a client list that I can then get claude to analyze how they might find this platform useful. - Client List: Look at current metrics / use case of clients
Now moving on to the other cards in the same heirarchy level as the kanband boards
Message board - A ton of micellanious information. Schedule - Good for keeping tabs on the tasks assigned to each person. Very sparse however. Product Backlog - Seems a bit outdated. Worth a look. Docs & Files - Really useful writeups by Mark PropelNote - Seems to be todolist for a hardware product called propelnote.
Wrapping up
