Tasks which I would feel productive if completed (Plans for the day)
- Dig into Basecamp
- Meeting with Doug at 12pm
- Learn Rails (I have tried for 3 days but something always came up. I'm just going to ignore everything else and learn as much rails as possible after meeting with Doug)
Running Journal of What Actually Happened
10:12am - Wrote tasks, moving on to Basecamp 10:18am - Deleted this file by accident, typed everything by hand again.
12:19pm - Meet with Doug, turned into a meeting with Doug and Mark.
3:40pm - Rethinking how I have been doing things. Got signals that I need to be doing better during the meeting with Mark.
Found an article that points out everything that I am doing wrong. I guess reading all those newsletters are paying off. https://dubroy.com/blog/fast-is-better-than-slow/
--Took a bit of a break--
5:43pm - My goal is now to submit a PR, or several, containing small QOL fixes Mark mentioned during the meeting.
6:03pm - Idea popped into my head
Week 2 - Submit as many qol bugfixes as I can
Week 3 - Work getting mcps hooked up to every single data source (Doug can help). Create a (very simple) application that lists every internal and exteneral feature request and documents everyones opinion on it and completion status.
Week 4 - I should then have the necessary knowlege and data to work down the list of features and potentially start talking to stakeholders.
Sounds like good plan to me :)
