Tasks which I would feel productive if completed (Plans for the day)

  • Create a prototype of the drag and drop functinality
  • Learn the basics of ROR and Hotwire
  • Meet with Doug and review his progress/related documents
  • Diagnose bug with tasks (Working solution may need to deal with the backend since the funcionality may not be implemented, so it may take a day or two, remember Mark is passionate about the tasks since he worked at startups who's core product was organization and task managment)
  • Ask for meeting with Regh either today or friday. (No analytics pitch until I talk to him)

What actually happened.

  • Woke up and immediatly obliterated my session credits by trying to run the same task that previously wrecked my session credits
  • Spent rest of the morning reaching chapter 6 of the rails guide, had to multitask with making bread.
  • Met with Doug and Mark, had to scrounge whatever I could to have something to show as my claude credits had still run out. My unpreparedness showed, but I still contributed an idea or two.
  • Asked to set up meeting with reg, working on that task that obliterated my session credits in a more careful way, coaxed out some basic drag and drop functionality from claude.

For Tommorrow

  • The Drag and Drop stuff should have been completed yestereday. Really dig into it.
  • Really abuse your session limits to show how you would have things and practice articulating it.
  • Understand the filter pull request, also seek to find a solution for the broken todo's.

Q's for reg:

  • How are my pull requests, do you have any suggestions on how I can present them better and the acutal code changes?
  • I'll need to pitch the collection of usage statistics to you next week. I know you have privacy concerns and am interested in forming my pitch to assuage those concerns as much as possible. Can you tell me your concerns?
  • . How much engineering should I be putting into them, more or less?
